ESCANABA - Sunday morning worship services are at 9 and 10:30 a.m. Nursery is available for both services. Sunday school classes are provided for all ages at 9. Children in grades 1-5 meet for Kids' Zone during the 10:30 service. Classroom activities are also provided during the 10:30 service for preschool-kindergarten children. Celebrate Recovery meets Thursday from 7 8:30 p.m. This is a 12-step, Christ-centered, Biblical program that gives hope for those who struggle with hurts, habits, and hang-ups.
The "Every Act of Love" Tour is Coming to Escanaba. GLADSTONE - Preparation for worship/prayer takes place from 9:30-9:45 a.m. on Sunday. Worship follows at 10. Sunday school for K-6th-grade is from 10:20 to 11. A church picnic/evangelism event takes place at the VanCleve Park Pavilion. A free lunch will consist of hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad, watermelon, ice cream sandwiches, cotton candy, popcorn, coffee and soft drinks. Lunch will be served from 11:30 to 2 p.m. The event will also include fun, music, face painting, and a bounce house.

ESCANABA - Worship on the 16th Sunday of Ordinary Time begins at 9:30 a.m. and will be led by Rev. Erik D. Heskin. Special music will be presented by the Fortune Lake Lutehran Camp Day Camp Counselors. Holy Communion will be celebrated. Acolytes are Emily Guenette and Joey Jacobson. The sound system will be operated by Leif Heskin. Child care is provided. An Ice Cream Social will be held outside or, in case of inclement weather, in the fellowship hall following the worship service. ESCANABA - Ministry student, Patrick O'Neal, and his family will soon be leaving for Searcy, Ark., where he will be attending the Harding University Bible department. He will deliver his farewell sermon to the church on Sunday at 11 a.m. Bible classes will also take place.
