LUCK, Wis. - David J. "Snook" LeGault, of Luck, Wis., passed away on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014 at the Amery Health Center in Amery, Wis.
David was born in Gladstone, on May 30, 1929, to Alfred and Regina LeGault, and graduated from Gladstone High School in 1948. Dave was a veteran of the Korean War, and was honorably discharged in November of 1952. Dave was an electrician with the Soo Line Railroad in Minneapolis, Minn., and retired to Luck, Wis.
Dave enjoyed playing sports in high school, especially football. In later years, he watched his favorite teams on TV.

He is survived by a daughter, Laurie, and a son, Michel, both of Orange, Calif.; a granddaughter, Samantha; a grandson, Michael; sisters, Irene (Larry) St. Martin of Gladstone, and Janet Switzer (Duane) of Rocky River, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Josephine (Henry) LeGault, Helen (Raymond) LeGault, and Lorraine (Arthur) LeGault; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Alfred, Henry, Phillip, Raymond, Arthur, James; and sister-in-law, Florence.
The family would like to thank Dave's special friends Becky and Craig for their kindness.
Dave's family will receive friends on Saturday, May 10, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Military rites conducted by the Gladstone American Legion Post 71 will follow at 12:15 p.m. Funeral services celebrating Dave's life will follow at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Jamie Ziminski of All Saints Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be at Fernwood Cemetery.
