Escanaba Junior High eighth grade art students of Scott Dykema recently created paper mache human figures using just toilet paper rolls. More than 1,500 toilet paper rolls were available and the challenge was to find a project to use them for. Students were instructed they could be cut and form the toilet paper rolls using any method. Before they started the project, students had a week-long study on the proportions of the human figure. According to Dykema, the results were impressive.
