So how does someone celebrate their birthday with a classroom of kindergartners when their birthday is in August and school is not in session? No problem for Foster Gramma Hope Coates. Because of her late summer birthday, Gramma Hope decided to treat the kindergarten students of Marlene McNamee at Holy Name Catholic School on her "half-year" birthday with ice cream and a surprise visit by Billy the Clown.
