Toby Kuivinen, Jason Jorgensen, Tim Shope, and Kevin Casey of the Bark River Lions Club took to the ice Friday afternoon to place the Off Road Icebreaker truck. Anyone interested in betting on the day and time that the truck will fall through the ice can purchase a ticket for $2. The closest guesser will receive 50 percent of the total cash purse, $500 in Firestone Tires from Mr. Tire, and two passes to the Bark River International Raceway. Tickets are available at Adams Grocery, Northern Plumbing and Heating, all four Mr. Tire locations, Lakeshore Chiropractic, Rosy’s Diner, Splash of Color, Lantagne’s Auto Body, Joe’s Marathon, the Delta County Chamber of Commerce, J.C.’s Gas and Welding, Auto Value, or from any Bark River Lions member.
