WINTER HAVEN, Fla. - Edward A. Brisebois, 77, former Escanaba resident, passed away Feb. 4, 2014, in Winter Haven, Fla.
Ed was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and served in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years. He moved to Laurium, Mich., in 1974, and was employed with the Finnish Mutual Ins. Co. and later with the Great Lakes Ins. Co. He moved to Escanaba in 1989 and was employed with the State of Michigan.
He is survived by wife, Nan of Winter Haven, Fla.; son, Bryan (Leigh) Brisebois of Stuart, Fla.; daughter, Denise Brisebois, of Laurium, Mich.; stepchildren, Steve Sidbeck of Schaumburg, Ill., Mike Sidbeck of Neenah, Wis., Wendy Burnette of Chrystal Lake, Ill., Cindy Tackett, Carlsbad, Calif.; brother, Frank (Barbara) Brisebois of Port St Lucie, Fla.; sister, Jeanette (Joe) Volpe of Garland, Texas. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
