ESCANABA - Winners in the Bonifas Fall Raffle were announced in early December at the Delta County Chamber of Commerce's Business After Hours, hosted by the Bonifas Arts Center and Players de Noc.
The $500 first prize went to Frances Goetz of Escanaba. Paul and Claudia Bradfield of Gladstone were winners of the second prize getaway, an overnight at Chamberlin's Ole Forest Inn in Curtis and a sled-dog adventure with Nature's Kennel in McMillan.
Third prize winner Dorothy Kollmann of Escanaba won the framed Hammerberg Depot print, and Sharon Erickson of Escanaba won the Fall Indulgence Basket.
Arts Center volunteer Fran Goetz reacts when she came into the Center after the Fall Raffle drawing and found she’d won $500.
"We couldn't put on our fundraisers without our friends," said Cindy A Bender, Bonifas special events director. "We'd like to thank not only our ticket buyers and sellers - and that's a huge thank you - we'd like to thank our sponsors, as well. They really do make it possible for us to continue to provide arts programming in our area,"
Sponsors for the event are Framecrafters, Your Space or Mine Massage Therapy, Anderson Lumber Company, Delta Driving School, Escanaba Moving Systems, Four Seasons Small Engines, Genesis Graphics, Northern Michigan Bank, and Chamberlin's Ole Forest Inn.
