GLADSTONE - Kathleen "K.C." Blahnik and Steven Kuehl were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held Sept. 13 at All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone with immediate family and the wedding party in attendance. The couple affirmed their vows at 2 p.m. the following afternoon at a scenic outdoor ceremony on the patio at the Terrace Bay Inn overlooking Bay de Noc. Deacon Mike LeBeau presided over both ceremonies.
A reception in honor of the newlyweds was held that evening at the Terrace Bay Inn.
K.C. chose her close friend and former college teammate, Katie Kilton, to be her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lindsay Degabriele, Dana Brusewitz, and Samantha Paradise, all friends of the bride. Kelsey Blahnik, sister-in-law of the bride, was an usher. Flute solos were performed by her lifelong friend, Cassie Stock, with her mother, Cindy Stock, on keyboard.

Steve selected his brother, Tyler Kuehl, as his best man. Shay Sjoholm and Brad Scruggs, friends of the groom, and Michael Blahnik, brother of the bride, were groomsmen. Also serving as usher was the groom's friend, Justin Gustafson.
Readers were friends, Margaret and Carson Teske.
The daughter of Wayne and Cindy Blahnik of Gladstone, K.C. graduated in 2006 from Gladstone High School and obtained her bachelor's degree in psychology in 2010 and a master's in counseling in 2013 from Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wis. She is currently an academic advisor for Lakeland.
Steve is the son of Ken Kuehl of rapid River and Florence Anderson of Gladstone. The 2004 Rapid River High School graduate earned his bachelor's degree in actuary science from Michigan Technological University in 2009 and a master's of mathematics from Central Michigan University in 2013. He is a full-time math instructor at Silver Lake College in Manitowoc, Wis.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Kuehl are making their home near Lakeland and will honeymoon over the Christmas break in Riviera Cancun, Mexico.
