BARK RIVER - Alissa Lynn Brunette and James Anthony Mileski were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony that took place on Sept. 14 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seten Church in Bark River. Rev. Al Mott presided over the early afternoon ceremony.
A reception in honor of the newlyweds followed at the Bark River Senior Center.
Alissa's parents are Linda Brunette (fiance Dan Reed) of Bessemer and Kenneth Brunette of Escanaba. Robert and Linda Mileski of Perronville are the parents of the groom.

The bride selected her friend, Brittany Guare, to be her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were: Lisa Hay, sister of the bride; Tashina Beauchamp, a friend of the bride; Angie Wandahsega, sister of the groom; Abby Anziano, niece of the groom; and Chelsea Clifford, cousin of the groom.
James' best man was his friend, Josh Larson. Groomsmen were: the groom's friends, Cameron Getzloff, Cameron Polfus, Dan Axberg and Travis LaFave; and the bride's brother, Kenny Brunette.
Seating the wedding guests were Chris Tryan, brother-in-law of the bride, and Kyle Niquette, cousin of the groom. Flower girl was Carly Tryan, niece of the bride, and ring bearer was Ashton Wandahsega, nephew of the groom.
Alissa is a 2013 graduate of Bay de Noc Community College where she received her associate's degree as a medical office specialist and administrative assistant. She currently works at Bishop Noa Home as a certified nursing assistant.
James is a 2007 Bark River-Harris High School graduate and is employed as an iron pourer at Grede Foundry in Kingsford.
Following a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, the new Mr. and Mrs. Mileski are making their home together in Wilson.
