October 19, 2013
Daily Press

This week's bouquets go to:

From The Marine Corp League Detachment 444:

"Thank you to those who came to or participated in the Great Pumpkin parade. Without your help and participation the parade couldn't have been as successful as it was. Thank you all. A special thanks to A.B.A.T.E of Michigan Region 17 for all their wonderful help."

From the Eskymo Fan Club:

The Eskymo Fan Club would like to thank everyone involved with the recent Pasty Fundraiser, it was another huge success. From all the volunteers, athlete's, parents, families, coaches, who donated their time, equipment and product, and especially to all the people who purchased the pasties. It is greatly appreciated. It's a great event to get involved in and its for the kids. Go Eskymos!

From North Central Michigan College students:

"The students of North Central Michigan College would like to thank Mollie Larsen and Beth Cox from Bay de Noc Community College for being guest presenters recently in the "Art-Survey of Glass Techniques" and "The Business of Art" classes. The students were treated to glass demonstrations and hands on learning, as well as lecture and Q&A time. It was very valuable to have such experienced educators and professionals share their time and knowledge. Thank you again."
