Home heavily damaged in fire

RAPID RIVER - A home was heavily damaged by fire this morning in northern Delta County.

Three fire departments were called to the scene of the blaze, a home about one mile northeast of Rapid River. The blaze was reported about 8 a.m. Firefighters said the dwelling sustained heavy damage and a vehicle at the scene was destroyed.

No injuries were reported.
