RAPID RIVER - Jeanne (Rahn) Rayl of Nahma/ Rapid River, Mich., was 66 when she passed away after a lengthy decline in her health at Marquette General Hospital on Aug. 7, 2013.

Jeanne was born Oct. 30, 1946, with her twin brother, Jim, in Bay City, Mich., to Harold and Ethel (Boucier) Rahn. Jeanne will be remembered most for her cooking abilities. She worked in restaurants all over Michigan. She enjoyed making and decorating cakes for anyone and everyone. Her favorite pastime activities were: dancing with her husband, listening to music, reading recipes, playing bingo, watching her favorite TV shows, and visiting with her family and friends. She was always happiest when people were around, and thought of anyone she met as an automatic friend.

Jeanne is preceded in death by her husband Ken.
