RUMELY, Mich. - Patricia "Pat" Louise Woodaz (nee St. Andrew), of Rumely, Mich., died Aug. 17, 2013, at Marquette General Hospital after 86 incredible years. She was born in Munising, Mich., July 1, 1927, to Lee and Zera (Moyer) St. Andrew. She attended Mather High School in Munising and graduated in 1946. Pat married her childhood friend John Thomas Woodaz on July 13, 1946, and soon after gave birth to their first of 10 children, John Lee Woodaz, in June 1947. She held the full time job of mother, ruling with a firm yet gentle hand. Pat and John moved to the family farm in Rumely in 1962, and with the help of their children ran a self-sustaining farm for many years, long before it was cool to be self-sustaining. She was very talented and accomplished many things. Pat was a cook, artist, seamstress, and even sewed all of her daughter's wedding dresses.
