GREEN BAY - Tom McChesney, 68, currently of Green Bay, went home to his mother on July 17, 2013, after a brave and valiant fight with leukemia, never having lost hope, thanks to the help of many wonderful caregivers.

He was born March 4, 1945, in Cornell, Wis. to the late Lauren and Alice (Lund) McChesney. He attended UW-LaCrosse and Kansas State University before serving his country as a Navy SEAL. He considered himself fortunate to have worked his twilight years at a company where he truly enjoyed the people he worked with, at Island Resort and Casino.

He was a well-respected husband, father, coach, boss, golfer and a life-long Packer and Brewer fan. His love of life was contagious and positively influenced everyone he ever met. Tom was always concerned about the happiness of those around him. He loved his wife, Rose, and his family deeply.
