Four-legged ‘graduates’ complete obedience course

ESCANABA - The Bay De Noc Kennel Club held dog obedience graduation on June 18.

The graduates were: in first place, Francie Myrick and Maltese, "Lily;" second place, Carly DeVet and hound mix, "Sampson;" third place, Wayne and Sandra LaCosse and Shorkie mix, "Kole;" fourth place, Shawna Peippo and mastiff mix, "Bandit."

Also completing obedience requirements were Mary Wagner and cavilier King Charles spaniel, "Dexter;" Mary and Bill Porath and Jack Russell mix, "Mitzi;" Bonnie Boatman and miniature schnauzer, "Maggie;" Dolores Geroy and German shepherd dog, "Cesar;" Melissa Swille and Labrador retriever, "Kita;" Terri Radandt and coonhound, "Bravo;" Bob Furney and Doberman pinscher, "Buddy;" Barbara Flath and cavilier King Charles spaniel, "April;" and Tonya Brown and golden retriever, "Breslin."
