Families involved in the FACE (Family and Child Education) program at the Nah Tah Wahsh Public School recently cerebrated the end of the school year with a trip to the Milwaukee Zoo as well as its pre-school graduation. Noah, pictured above with his mother, Amber, was excited to see the elephants at the zoo. Graduates, pictured below, are Briona, and Beepsee. FACE is a free early childhood program located at the school and is accredited by the National Association for Education of Young Children. FACE is open to children ages 3-5 and their caregivers who accompany their child to school and work on their GED, college completion or employment skills under the supervision of a certified teacher. For more information on the program, call Rose Potvin at (906) 723 - 2722.
