Rusch to pursue degree in brewing

ESCANABA - Kristoffer R. Rusch recently graduated from Northern Michigan University with a master's degree in experimental psychology. His concentration, graduate assistantship, and thesis all focused on the sub fields of behavioral neuroscience and psychopharmacology.

Kristoffer has decided, however, to exit the field of antipsychotic drug development to pursue his education in Asheville, N.C., where he will pursue an associate's degree in brewing, distillation and fermentation with the long term goal of opening a craft brewery in a viable location. Kristoffer will be one of 24 students in this unique program and will assist in its maiden voyage. Upon completion he will have the option of testing for an international brewmaster certificate granted by the Institute and Guild of Brewing in London, England.
