In honor or Earth Day, the boys in Cub Scout Pack 411 recently held a trash clean-up day near the Escanaba Community Gardens. The adult leaders, Tish Groleau, Amy Mathieson and Caressa Kahl, took care of the area along the busy roadway, while the boys took on the inside areas. In spite of a rainy day, Cubs picked up about four bags of trash and debris. Webelos Den Leader Tisha said "We are also going to do a cleanup with the pack at our sponsoring church for our next Pack meeting." Cub Scouts taking part in the cleanup were: from left, Daniel Groleau, Cody Wellman, Terrelle Rowley, Logan Kahl, Jesse Pepin and Trevor Mathieson. Pack 411 meets at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Cubmaster Paddy Fitch. For more information about the Pack, contact Fitch at 786-4684 or donfitch@charter.net.
