Rock before it was Rock. The area was classified in 1909 as Maple Ridge, a train stop of the Chicago/Northwestern Railroad. The photo was originally furnished for publication in the Delta Reporter Newspaper by Loretta (Johnson) Young, who was able to identify one individual - Oriel Raymond (3rd from left), who was the brother of Young's grandmother, Louise Boissonneult.
