Although they are not members of the Legion but live in a area of the cemetery, Jerry and Sandy Newhouse have volunteered to assist with the flag Gladstone Legion program for a number of years.

The Manistique American Legion Post 83 put out flags at the Lakeview and Fairview cemeteries in Manstique for the Memorial Day Holiday. Pictured are Olivia and Jacob Mackie, who joined forces with the American Legion Post 83 to honor the fallen by placing flags on the graves of those who died in the service of their country.
Members of the Escanaba River American Legion Post 115 placed approximately 40 flags at the Escanaba Township Cemetery (Flat Rock) on Thursday in preparation for Memorial Day. Assisting with the project are: from left, Oral Thompson, Dutch Solis, and Jack Way, who is the oldest member of Post 115.
