MARQUETTE - Several adult Girl Scout volunteers were recognized at a luncheon held in Marquette on April 27. The Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes, Inc. honored these adults for their service in their communities and for their outstanding volunteerism within the organization. Many awards were received, including the Volunteer of Excellence, Appreciation Pin and the highest volunteer award, the Thanks Badge II.
Two adults were recognized for 35 years of membership.
To earn these adult recognitions, volunteers must be nominated for their service and approved by the GSNWGL Board of Directors.
