Myra was especially proud of her daughters Emma and Hanna and loved them more than life itself.

She always encouraged them to do their best, work hard, and to be true to themselves. She loved attending all of their sporting events, dance recitals and school functions. Her family always came first in her life and she greatly enjoyed the many special family vacations that were taken.

Myra loved to laugh, but was not afraid to cry. She was a kind and generous person, yet spirited with a wonderful sense of humor. She always tried to live each and every day to the very fullest. Her strong faith in God, along with the strength and courage she exhibited during her illness, were awe inspiring.

A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, May 20, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 4337 W. Willow, Lansing, with Fr. John P. Klein presiding. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 19, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Vigil Service at the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing.

Contributions in memory of Myra may be made to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, c/o Sparrow Hospital, 1215 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing, MI 48912. Friends may visit the guest book at www.tiffanyfuneralhome.com.
