BIERMAKER - Escanaba residents, Josh and Melissa Biermaker, welcomed a daughter at OSF St. Francis Hospital April 16 at 11:59 p.m. Meila Rose weighed 7 pounds, 5.9 ounces, and measured 19 inches long at birth.

Meila joins brother, Zander, 8, in the family.

Lora Parker of Escanaba is the maternal grandmother. Cheryl and Todd Beyer of Menominee are the paternal grandparents.

John and Rosalie Ruska of Kiva, and Barbara and Jim Mcnabb of Albuquerque, N.M., are Meila's great-grandparents.

BIGELOW - Matt and Melissa Bigelow of Madison, Wis., welcomed their first child, a son, born on Jan. 14 at Meriter Hospital in Madison at 11:10 a.m. Maximus John weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces, and was 20 inches long at birth.

The mother is the former Melissa Salmon.

Dan and Sue Salmon of Bark River, Sue Bigelow of Escanaba, and Steve and Linda Bigelow of Crystal Falls are Max's grandparents.

Great-grandparents are John McMahon of Bark River and Maxine Salmon of Malvern, Ark.

BROEDERS - Tom and Jenny (Bougie) Broeders of Escanaba welcomed their daughter, Peyton Elizabeth-Marie, born at St.Francis Hospital on Feb. 25 at 8:34 a.m. The infant weighed in at 8 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

Peyton joins her brother, Logan, at home.

Henry and Cathy Broeders of Ford River and Richard and Mary Rose Bougie of Escanaba are the baby's grandparents.

Great-grandparents are Ernie and Irene Broeders of Ford River, Vera Grzyb of Bark River, and Betty Lou Tourangeau of Flat Rock.

CORRIGAN - Paul and Jenny Corrigan of Escanaba welcomed twin girls, Aubrey Ann and Bailey Kay, born April 5 at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain. Aubrey weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces, and her sister, Bailey, weighed in at 5 pounds and 13 ounces.

The grandparents are Chum and Chris Baumler and Dick and Linda Corrigan, all of Daggett.

Great-grandparents are Gus and Shirley Wetthuhn and Minnie Swanson, all of Daggett, and Jeanne Corrigan of Powers.
