WILSON - Wanda E. Kell, 87, of Wilson, passed away early Sunday morning, May 5, 2013, at her son's home in Burlington, Wis., where she was residing. She was born on April 20, 1926, in La Branche, the daughter of the late Jacob and Victoria (Kulack) Welch.
On March 20, 1948, Wanda married Norman Kell. After they were married, they lived in Milwaukee, Wis., before making their permanent home in Wilson. Norman preceded her in death in 1997.
She is survived by her daughter, Jill (Scott) Smith of Cypress, Calif.; and son, Curtis (Gina) Kell of Burlington, Wis.; three grandchildren, Amanda, Megan and Courtney Kell, all of Burlington, Wis.; a special friend, Karl Kell; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, George, Joseph and Walter; and five sisters, Julia, Mary, Anna, Blanch and Victoria.
Friends may call from 1:30 to 3 p.m. (CDT) on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Spalding. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Wanda E. Kell will follow visitation at 3 p.m. (CDT) on Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Chris Bergquist officiating.
Burial will take place in the Wilson Cemetery following the services.
