MUNISING - Troopers and detectives from the Michigan State Police's Munising Detachment investigated a home invasion and armed robbery incident that occurred about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday at a residence on County Road 440 in Alger County's Autrain Township.

Allen Miron, 19, of Alger County, was assaulted and rendered incapacitated at the residence by multiple suspects, said troopers. The suspects then robbed the victim of property from within the residence and fled the scene.

Miron was transported by Alger County Emergency Medical Services to Munising Memorial Hospital where he was treated for injuries sustained in the assault.

Suspects in the incident remain at-large. State Police detectives are continuing to investigate the incident this morning; however, no specific suspect descriptions are available at this time.

Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Michigan State Police Forensic Lab of Marquette, officers from the Alger County Sheriff Department, Michigan Department of Natural Resources, and Alger County EMS.
