STOCKBRIDGE, Mich. - Addie Elizabeth Stadig of Stockbridge, Mich., formerly of Alpharetta, Ga., 80, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013, at her son's home in Stockbridge. She was born on May 21, 1932, in Escanaba, the daughter of Emil and Agnes (Eckman) Helgemo.
She was a former member of Hardy United Methodist Church in Howell and enjoyed cooking, baking, and all her family including her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are five children, Kathie McCauley (Robert Wert) of Alpharetta, Ga., Jenny (Ray) Lott of Jerome, Idaho, Kimberly Stadig of Jerome, Idaho, Tammy (Pat) Clements of Littleton, Colo., and Mel (Brenda) Stadig of Stockbridge; sister-in-law, Barbara Helgemo of Escanaba; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Helga, Vernon, Lloyd, Gib, and Richard, and a grandson, J.D. Lott.
