Esky Band Boosters get a boost

February 22, 2013
Daily Press

This week's bouquets go to:

From the Esky Band Boosters

"We would like to extend a 'thanks' to all who attended and supported our recent pancake dinner. Your generous support of the dinner enables the Band Boosters to help foster and support all students involved in Esky band programs! A special thank you to those parents and volunteers who helped make the dinner such a huge success."

From St. Vincent de Paul of Gladstone Food Pantry:

"We would like to thank Community of Christ Church for hosting the soup and sandwich dinners. We would also like to thank all the churches that have sponsored different monthly dinners. The Community of Christ Church has given St. Vincent de Paul over $10,000. The last dinner of the year will be held on March 4 at the Community of Christ Church, 1022 Wisconsin Ave., Gladstone, from 5-6:30 p.m. All are welcome."

From Shirley Maki:

"This is to acknowledge an act of kindness. To the young couple who bought my dinner at the Stonehouse on Feb. 15, a special thank you. My husband and I used to try to go to the Stonehouse once a month when we got our check. I reminisce now of days gone by - alone. I want you to know I appreciate your kindness very much. Thank you. Sorry I didn't get to meet you."

From Right to Life of Delta County:

"Special thanks go out to each and everyone who made a difference for life by supporting our annual January appeal. Thanks also to the groups and churches which held the March for Life and reception, Respect Life prayer service, the Rally for Life, and all those who witnessed for life with their prayers, letters, phone calls, and emails and all those who made the bus trip to Washington D.C. to take part in the annual March for Life. May God bless you all for your efforts to help build a culture of life!"
