JOHNSONBURG, Pa. - Lisa M. DeMay, 44, of 229 Mill Street, Johnsonburg, Pa., passed away Friday afternoon, Feb. 15, 2013, at Elk Regional Health Center in St. Marys, Pa. Lisa was born on July 12, 1968, in St. Marys, Pa. the daughter of Donald and Lucille Asti Haight.
She married David A. DeMay on Aug. 25, 1990, in Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg and he survives.
Lisa resided in Johnsonburg all her life. She graduated from Johnsonburg High School in 1986. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg Elks Lodge 612, and Central Hose Co.
Lisa was employed by Dr. Mary Reed DaCanal for the past six years, Johnsonburg Elk Club. She had also been employed by the Kopper Kettle restaurant in Johnsonburg for 16 years and Pizza Hut of St. Marys for four years.
Lisa M. DeMay is survived by her husband; mother, Lucille Haight of St. Marys; two daughters, Marlee D. DeMay and Emilee M. DeMay; son, Aidan D. DeMay; two brothers, Mark (Lori) Haight of Chandler, Ariz. and Mike "Toot" (Cindy) Haight of Johnsonburg; and sister, Lori Gregori of Johnsonburg. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her father and maternal and paternal granparents.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Lisa M. DeMay will be conducted at Holy Rosary Church, Jbg. on Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 10 a.m. Rev. David J. Wilson, will be officiating. Burial will take place at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Johnsonburg.
Friends will be received at the Anthony F Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg, Pa. on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. An Elk's Lodge of Sorrow Service will be conducted at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m.
