Towering over Escanaba: U.P. man works on radio tower

February 15, 2013
Daily Press
Is it a bird? Is it a Bungee jumper? Is it a trapeze artist? No. It’s 62-year-old Fred Anderson, owner of Anderson Communications Inc. of Marquette, doing repairs on the tower at Escanaba Public Safety. Anderson was working on the department’s radio system during cold temperatures recently. Today’s forecast calls for a high of 21F and a windchill as low as -2F. (Daily Press photo by Jenny Lancour)
