A group of 16 Rapid River boys enjoyed a skiing party one wintery Sunday in 1915 at the old Bill's Creek Hill. The area is on the Bay de Noc snowmobile and horse trail where Bill's Creek empties into the Whitefish River. The youth have been identified as: from left, John Hamilton, Allen Johnson, Kenneth Lagerquist, Alvin Nelson, Otto Schram, Henry Wilfred, Wallace Lagerquist, Levi "Duf" Barboo Jr., Curtis Christiansen, Harvey Grandchamp, Fred Gravelle, Robert McPherson, Rufus "Fish" Burt, Walter Darrow, Archie Forest and Clifford Burt
