Police seek help in locating missing woman

ESCANABA - The Escanaba Public Safety Department is asking for the public's help in finding a missing woman.

Jean Marie Lawrence, 56, was last seen in Escanaba on Feb. 6 at approximately 8 p.m. in the 500 block of South 22nd Street when she walked away from her adult foster home.

She is described as having blue eyes, shoulder length auburn hair with graying at the roots. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black denim jeans with holes, and white shoes.

She may appear frail, disoriented, without shelter and does have a history of mental illness.
