INKSTER, Mich. (AP) — A judge has ordered a second man jailed in the slaying of a 2-year-old Detroit-area girl.

The Wayne County prosecutor's office says Raphael Hearn was arraigned Saturday in Romulus District Court.

Hearn, of Inkster, is charged with first-degree murder, two counts of assault with intent to murder and using a firearm during a felony. A July 16 preliminary hearing is scheduled.

Hearn does not have a lawyer.

Raymone Jackson, who is accused of being the gunman, was arraigned Thursday on the same charges.

Kamiya Gross was shot in the head Tuesday night outside a home in Inkster, southwest of Detroit. Police have said she was an "intended target." Her 26-year-old father and a 13-year-old girl were wounded.

Police have said the shooting appeared to be retaliation for an April shooting.
