HARRIS - Three solid quarters proved enough for the Bark River-Harris girls Friday night as they posted a 58-45 basketball victory over the Ewen-Trout Creek Panthers.
BR-H led 51-28 after the third quarter of the non-conference contest.
"I was happy with everything except the play of our bench," said BR-H Joel Schultz. "They didn't work the way I like to see them work. I think they got too comfortable with the lead. We lost our intensity and didn't finish the game hard."
Sarah Madalinski paced the Broncos (8-3) with 18 points. Jordyn Hardy added 11 points. Kylee VanBrocklin collected 10 points and four assists. Caitlyn Frazer also scored 10 points and Courtney Jenshak had six steals.
Zoey McGeshick led E-TC (7-5) with 10 points.
"They're a solid team," Schultz said of the Panthers. "If they could set up and run their offense, they could be tough."
