WANAKA, NEW ZEALAND - Allison Rachel Cohn and Kevin Allen McLaughlin exchanged wedding vows on Dec. 12, 2012, during a ceremony that took place atop Coromandel Peak, which they reached by helicopter, in Wanaka, New Zealand. Beverley A. Clark, an independent celebrant in Wanaka, officiated.
A local reception in honor of the couple will be held in May at the Landmark Inn in Marquette.
The new bride is the daughter of Marilyn Sucher Cohn of Greeley, Colo., and Robert S. Cohn of New Orleans. She graduated from the University of Florida in 2002 and received a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She works in Guilford, Conn., where she is a counsel at Wheeler Trigg O'Donnell, the Denver law firm.
Allison and Kevin McLaughlin
Kevin is the son of Thomas and Shireen McLaughlin of Gladstone. He graduated from Arizona State University at Tempe in 2001 and received a master's degree in structural engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He works in New Haven, Conn., as a senior bridge inspector for Figg Bridge Inspection, a design engineering and construction inspection firm, based in Tallahassee, Fla.
