ESCANABA - Julie Anne Branstrom became the bride of Chad William Rudden during an early afternoon wedding ceremony that took place at Central United Methodist Church in Escanaba. Rev. Scott Harmon officiated the nuptials.
Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at the Danforth Place.
Meryl Kohlman, a friend of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were: Cheyenna McCrite, Anna Sargent, and Sam Brunette, all friends of the bride; Melissa Kositzky, sister of the groom; and Keia Brunette, sister-in-law of the bride.

Andy Branstrom, brother of the bride, stood as best man. Groomsmen were: Tim Waeghe and Eric Reim, both cousins of the groom; Steve Kositzky, brother-in-law of the groom; Kurtis Schroeder, a friend of the couple; and Jason Branstrom, brother of the bride.
Seating the guests were Carolyn Pelto and Becca Gustafson, both friends of the bride. Ring bearers were Blake Branstrom, nephew of the bride, and Easton Kositzky, nephew of the groom. Flower girl was Michaela Kohlman, daughter of the maid of honor, Meryl Kohlman.
The daughter of Bryon and Lori Branstrom of Gladstone, Julie is a 2004 graduate of Gladstone High School and a 2008 graduate of Bay de Noc Community College with an associate's degree. She is employed at Newpage.
Chad is the son of William and Peggy Rudden of Escanaba. He is a 1998 graduate of Escanaba High School and a 2001 graduate of Bay College with an associate's degree in computer systems technology. He is an inventory supervisor at Walmart.
The couple will spend their honeymoon in Negril, Jamaica, in February. The couple have made their home in Soo Hill.
