MANISTIQUE - St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Manistique was the setting for the June 23 wedding of Heather Marie Madden and Timothy John Bosanic. The couple exchanged wedding vows during a 2 p.m. ceremony that was celebrated by Rev. Glenn Theoret.
Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at Diamond Lights Banquet Center.
Ashley Madden, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were: Stephanie Madden, cousin of the bride; Connie Johnson, sister of the groom; and Shanna Taylor, Lindsley Swanson, and Renee Knoph, all friends of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Alyssa and Lindsey Johnson, both nieces of the groom. Flower girl was Mykaella Bouchard, goddaughter of bride.

The groom selected his brother, Steve Cappeart, to stand as his best man. Groomsmen were: Nick Bosanic, cousin of the groom; Greg Johnson, brother-in-law of groom; and Chris Nord, Dave Ekstrom, Drew Baker, all friends of the groom. Marcus Madden, cousin of the bride, was junior groomsman. Ring bearer was Dawson Bosanic, cousin of the groom.
Seating the wedding guests were Kris Hewitt and Jeramie Williams, both friends of the groom. Chosen as lectors were: Kreg Arnold, cousin of the groom; Kristi Head, a friend of the bride; and Theresa Madden, aunt of the bride as lectors. Soloists were Ashley Jones, a friend of the bride, and Therese Schalm. Pianist/organist was Patty Faketty.
The daughter of Robert and Brenda Madden of Manistique, Heather is a 2004 graduate of Manistique High School. She attended Northern Michigan University and graduated with an associate degree from Bay de Noc Community College in 2008. She is employed at Schoolcraft County Medical Care Facility and Northern Comfort Specialized Care.
Tim is the son of William Bosanic and Janeen Cappeart of Manistique and is a 1998 graduate of Manistique High School. He is employed with Manistique Papers.
The couple is planning a honeymoon and will reside in Manistique.
