Life Scout Nathan "Nate" Bellville, above center, recently complete his Eagle Scout Project. Nate, along with the help of several of his fellow scouts from Gladstone Boy Scout Troop 466, constructed a handicap accessible barbecue grill in Gladstone's Van Cleve Park near the big pavilion. Nate is pictured with Stacey Bingham, left, local Eagle Scout chair, and Nicole Sanderson, Gladstone's Recreation Department director. His project was made possible through donations from Bark River Concrete, Little Bay Concrete and Hoegh Industries and the countless hours of labor from Tom Hamilton, Rick Cryderman and Nate's family and friends. Hough has donated a plaque that will be put on the grill in the spring. Troop 466 of Gladstone has a long line of Eagle Scouts. For more information about Troop 466 contact Scoutmaster Jamie Siedlecki at (906) 553-7248 or email to jamie.siedlecki@gmail.com.
