In the aftermath of the unspeakable tragedy in Newtown, Conn., a nation grieves the loss of 20 children and six adults.
We look to our faith for strength, guidance and consolation. Friday was a dark day!
With faith in mind, darkness turned into light on Sunday evening, Dec. 16.
At St. Patrick's & St. Joseph's Church we were blessed with the 10th Annual Community Christmas concert, "A Festival of Choirs." We want to thank them for an outstanding performance. If you did not have a chance to attend this concert, you missed a wonderful community effort of some of the best church choirs, directors and accompanists in the area. Simply said it was a gift to the community. The concluding event "Hallelujah" from Messiah, which was conducted by Ann Wood and sung by the Festival Choir was a truly a "little bit of heaven."
We look forward to next year! A Blessed Christmas and Happy New Year!
