GLADSTONE - Ret. Michigan State Police Trooper Richard "Dick" Brian Solka Sr., 69, of Gladstone, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at his home as the result of a long battle with cancer.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, Dec. 30, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Louis Hague officiating. A luncheon will be served following services at the Gladstone Yacht Club.
