The first-grade students of Paulette Larson at the Cameron Elementary School in Gladstone recently celebrated "Aaron Rodgers Day" along with their teacher, who is a dedicated Green Bay Packer fan. Larson encouraged her students to dress for the day in their Packer jerseys or colors. But it wasn't easy to determine if the students are celebrating Rodger's discount "double check" signature touchdown move or if they were mimicking the "sack" celebration of teammate, Clay Matthews.
But not every student is a Packer fan. A few Detroit Lions fans showed support for their favorite team by wearing blue jerseys.
Still others opted to stay in the “neutral zone.” But despite their team affiliation, the youngsters had a good time celebrating with green and yellow cookies and green juice. They also enjoy donuts, courtesy of their teacher following each Packers win.
