ESCANABA - Kimberly Anne Zimmerman and Joshua William Young exchanged wedding vows on July 28 during a noon Mass at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Escanaba. The nuptials were celebrated by Rev. Rick Courier.
A reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at the Terrace Bay Inn.
Melissa Zimmerman, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were: Laura Zimmerman and Mallory Zimmerman, both sisters of the bride; Nichole Whiteside, sister of the groom; and Cara Groos and Maegan Smith, both friends of the couple. Flower girls were Natali Whiteside, niece of the groom, and Kenzie Zimmerman, niece of the bride.

The groom's brother, Matt Young, stood as best man. Groomsmen were Zach Hannon, Matthew Marriott, Brandon Earby, Chad Fedewa, and Chris Cunningham, all friends of the couple. The ring bearer was Matthew Zimmerman, brother of the bride. John Krueger, cousin of the groom, seated the guests.
Kimberly is the daughter of Stephen and Mary Zimmerman of Escanaba. She is a 2011 graduate of Ferris State University with a degree in radiography and is employed as an X-ray technician at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
The son of Art and Debbie Young of Remus, Mich., Joshua is the assistant store manager at Lowes.
The newlyweds will honeymoon in Riviera Maya this winter. They have made their home together in Traverse City.
