LAS VEGAS - Carol Sue (Peppler) Klasell, 66, of Las Vegas, Nev., died unexpectedly due to smoke inhalation from a house fire on Dec. 14, 2012. Carol was born on Nov. 11, 1946, in Alpena, Mich., to Lena Lou Peppler (Ellingson) and adopted by Howard James Peppler.
Carol graduated from Alpena High School and attended Northern Michigan University. Carol enjoyed life and was never afraid to try something new. She enjoyed moving around the country-side and had lived in Michigan, Wisconsin, Colorado, Montana, Alaska, and spent her final years in Nevada. She loved to meet new people, travel, hunt, fish, and enjoy the outdoors.
Carol married David Klasell in Alpena, Mich., in June of 1966. They had two children, Susan and LeAnn, whom she was very proud of.
Carol is survived by her two daughters, Susan Nagel of Slinger, Wis. and LeAnn (Frank) Bink of Escanaba; granddaughters, Stephanie Nagel, Sarah Nagel, Amanda Bink, and grandson, Justin Bink. Carol was loved very much and will be greatly missed.
Desert Memorial Funeral Home in Las Vegas, Nev., assisted the family. A private memorial will be held by her daughters.
