ESCANABA - Randy Derouin and Miranda VanEffen announce their engagement. The couple will exchange vows during a ceremony planned for June 1, 2013, in Escanaba.
Miranda is the daughter of Myron and Mary VanEffen of Escanaba. The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Escanaba High School and a 2007 graduate of Lake Superior State University. She is a procurement technician at the Island Resort and Casino in Harris.
Randy is the son of Dale and Merri Derouin of Bark River. He is a 2000 graduate of Escanaba High School and is an employee of Bink's Coke Cola Bottling in Escanaba.
