La Butte enlists in National Guard
GARDEN - Shiloh S. La Butte, 17, of Garden, has recently enlisted into the Michigan National Guard under the Guard's Split Training Option. PV 2 La Butte attended basic training this past June at Ford Leonard Wood, Mo.
Shiloh is currently a senior at Big Bay de Noc High School and upon her graduation will attend her advanced individual training for her job skill at Fort Leonard Wood.

Upon completion of her advanced individual training PV 2 La Butte will be assigned to the 46th Military Police Company in Cheboygan as a Military Police.
Shiloh has future plans to continue with her college education at Northern Michigan University and their ROTC program after high school and her advanced individual training.
Shiloh is the daughter of Tom and Anna La Butte of Garden.
