December 8, 2012
Daily Press

MARQUETTE - Police arrested a second suspect Friday in connection to an armed robbery of a Marquette County gas station last month.

Matthew Fuller, 20, of Marinette County in Wisconsin, was arrested in Marinette County without incident, in connection with a robbery at Fran's Service Station in Palmer, according to a news release from the Marquette County Sheriff's Department.

The other suspect, Dakota J. Fuller, 20, of Gwinn, was arrested at a Sawyer residence on Thursday, after receiving an anonymous tip.

Arrest warrants for stolen vehicle charges out of Dickinson and Marinette counties have also been issued against each man in connection with the robbery.

Police say the store owner was returning home on Sunday, Nov. 18, when he came upon two males exiting a rear basement window of the business at around 10:40 p.m.

The suspects allegedly briefly subdued the owner at gunpoint before fleeing on foot into a wooded area behind the store. The victim was not injured in the incident.

Marquette, Dickinson, and Marinette County Sheriff's departments are continuing joint investigations of the incident.
