Randall Mark Bajanen

BARK RIVER - Randall Mark Bajanen, 61, of 2539 State Highway M-35 in Bark River, passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba. He was born April 26, 1951 in Milwaukee, and was the son of Wesley and Betty Bajanen. Randy graduated from High School in Milwaukee and then served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He moved to the Upper Peninsula and was employed at the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad until his retirement. On Sept. 3, 1988 Randy married the former Tamara Huskey at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Escanaba. Randy was an avid golfer, a member of the Highland golf Club, he loved to hunt with his cousin Dave Collins and his greatest love was spending time with his three grand daughters.

Randall Mark Bajanen is survived by: wife, Tamara; parents Bill and Betty (Hughes) Arnold; sisters, Susan (Norman), Laura (Hal) and Mary (Rick); sons, Michael (Kris) and Mason (Patty); daughter, Karie (Paco); three granddaughters, Cassandra, Marissa and Karlena; two grandsons, Anthony and Nick; several nieces and nephews.

Randy was preceded in death by his father, Wesley Bajanen, and granddaughter, Bella CC Bajanen.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 .p.m Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Escanaba.

Delta County Veteran's services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Church. Funeral services celebrating the life of Randall Mark Bajanen will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Our Savior Lutheran Church with Rev. Alfred Schubert officiating.

A luncheon will be served following the funeral services.
