A fire in Escanaba destroyed several garages Tuesday night. The fire occurred about 11 p.m. on the 300 block of South 8th Street. The garage complex was used by tenants of a nearby apartment complex. The garages were engulfed in flames when Escanaba Public Safety officers arrived and quickly spread through the garage complex.
