WILSON - Cheryl R. Sagataw, 56, N15435 Tamarack Lane, Wilson, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at Marquette General Hospital.

Cheryl was born on March 12, 1956, in Escanaba the daughter of Francis Dunlop and Dolores Kesick. She was raised in Brampton and graduated from Perkins High School in 1974.

She married Errol "Marty" Sagataw on Dec. 19, 1997 in Minneapolis.

She loved being a grandmother, Bible study, going to church, rummage sales and being a caretaker.

Cheryl was a hairdresser, house monitor and caretaker for Edgar and Charolette Sagataw in Hannahville for many years.

She was a member of New Life Assembly of God Church in Escanaba. She was instrumental in starting a monthly church service in Hannahville.

Among survivors include her husband, Errol "Marty" Sagataw of Hannahville; daughter, Jennifer (Lexie Sr.) Keshick of Hannahville; six grandchildren, Jaylyn, Skylynn, Thomas, Bethany, Lexie Jr. and Carissa; brothers and sisters, Allen (Judy) Keshick of Escanaba, Larry (Cindy) Couillard of Danforth, Dwayne (Cheryl) Couillard of Perkins, Daniel "Munk" Dunlop of Escanaba, Francie (Marcus) Loper of Charlevoix of Michigan, Louise "LuLu" (Chris) Beauchamp of Escanaba, William "Chilly Willy" Dunlop of Harris; sister-in-law, Vicki Couillard; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Chapel in Bark River. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Jim Cousineau officiating. The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the Sagataw family with arrangements.
