The corner of Ludington Street and 11th Street South in Escanaba was busy Tuesday night as families gathered around for the Downtown Development Authority’s Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Families crowd around the lighted tree for photographs while others sing Christmas carols. Hot chocolate, cookies, horse-drawn wagon rides and limo rides were also part of the event.
