ST. IGNACE - A downstate man died Friday from injuries he received in an off-road vehicle accident in Schoolcraft County earlier in the week, according to Michigan State Police from the St. Ignace Post who continue to investigate the crash.
Brian Richard Reiss, 57, of Clinton Township, was operating a four-wheeler in Mueller Township when the crash occurred around 7 p.m. Wednesday, said troopers in a news release. He was transported to Marquette General Hospital where he died on Friday. Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the accident, according to the news release.
